Description

Termrim Construction is currently on-site delivering the St Andrews Grange Development in Armley for Yorkshire Housing. Secured through the Procurement Hub Development Contractors Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), this scheme will provide 50 affordable housing units, including 27 homes with one to four bedrooms and 23 one- and two-bedroom apartments.

The St Andrews Grange site, formerly an old factory, requires extensive remediation work as part of the preparatory phase. Termrim is implementing new infrastructure, services, and drainage systems to meet project specifications and ensure compliance with sectional agreements with both Highways and local water authorities. Additionally, landscaped areas will be created to enhance the development and provide green spaces for residents.

Throughout the development process, Termrim and Yorkshire Housing have focused on sustainability, exploring various eco-friendly options. For the apartments, internal air source heat pump cylinders have been proposed, with the added benefit of rooftop solar panels. This system contributes to a more energy-efficient living environment, reducing both carbon footprint and energy costs for residents.

The project is phased to allow for early handovers, supporting quicker occupancy for Yorkshire Housing.

Registered under the Considerate Constructors Scheme, the development aligns with industry best practices for community engagement and environmental responsibility.
