Colliers Park, Sugar Hill
Termrim Construction are currently on site delivering this development of 70 new homes, procured through the Efficency North Framework. The project, expected to complete in 2026, is being delivered through a JCT Design and Build Contract.
The completed scheme will feature a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom homes designed to meet a minimum EPC B energy rating, with each home benefiting from the installation of solar panels.
This development is entirely affordable, offering homes for affordable rent for local residents and options for shared ownership. Most of the original site was regenerated nearly 30 years ago, resulting in modern homes on Shelley Crescent and Oulton Drive, with the remaining Airey homes on Sugar Hill Close and Wordsworth Drive being the last to undergo redevelopment.
The project is supported by funding from Homes England's Strategic Partnership with Accent Housing as part of the government's Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) 2021-26.
The first ten homes delivered in Phase One have been allocated to the ten residents with assured tenancies currently living on Sugar Hill Close and Wordsworth Drive.
Our team has collaborated closely with the client to develop the design for the new houses. While the local authority’s core planning strategy specifies a 10% reduction in carbon emissions, the scheme is projected to achieve a 27.51% reduction, significantly exceeding local requirements.
