Termrim Construction is proud to have worked in partnership with Yorkshire Housing for more than twenty years, building many of their new housing schemes across the Yorkshire region.
Our long standing partnership will see a new scheme of twenty-three shared ownership homes commencing on site in January 2019, on a previously vacant site in Salendine Nook, Huddersfield. The development site is located on New Hey Road adjacent to the former Spotted Cow Public House and Salendine Nook Baptist Church.
New homes will provide much needed affordable housing for the local area. The site is in a sustainable location with a college, schools, shops, doctors, dentists and post office all close by, and the site is also located on a primary bus route.
The site was identified by Termrim Construction and introduced to Yorkshire Housing as a suitable site for a shared ownership housing development, through a land lead partnership approach. We have successfully managed and achieved planning approval for the site and secured the Design and Build contract with Yorkshire Housing to build the new homes.
