Termrim Construction recently held a fundraising day for local charity, Levi’s Star, based just a mile away from our ongoing St Swithin's development. We are pleased to have raised over £250 for the charity!
Levi’s Star Brain Tumour Charity supports children with brain tumours and their families throughout Yorkshire by offering grants, raising awareness, promoting research and supporting children/young adults living with the effects of a brain tumour during and after treatment.
The charity was established in August 2008 in memory of Levi, who tragically lost his life to a brain tumour, just 6 weeks after being diagnosed. Levi was only 6 1/2 years old.
Staff were invited to take part in a ‘dress down’ day and a raffle was held on site to raise funds for the charity, with the winner receiving a gift voucher, kindly donated by Premier Moorhouse Stores in Stanley, Wakefield.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and donated to this extremely worthwhile cause!
