This week, the final phase of our new housing development at Lady Edith’s, Scarborough have been handed over to long-term client Yorkshire Housing.
Lady Edith’s is a brand-new development of 49 two- and three-bedroom mixed tenure homes available for rent and shared ownership, all of which have now been reserved. The stunning development is located just a 10-minute drive from Scarborough’s sandy coast in a highly sought-after location.
Termrim Construction have worked closely with the design team including Summers-Inman, Devcom and Billinghurst George and Partners to provide a sustainable design and overcome numerous challenges on this site including a sloping site and poor ground conditions.
While on site we have delivered over 11,040 apprentice hours in collaboration with our supply chain and been involved in various social value initiatives including the donation of 15,000 bricks to the Construction Skills Village, a local organisation in Scarborough set up to address the skills shortage and bring together education and industry.
Termrim have delivered a number of developments for Yorkshire Housing and Space Homes including New Hey Road, Huddersfield and Outwood Lane, Horsforth which both handed over in 2020. We are currently on-site at Ellerwood, Skipton which will deliver 109 new homes for Yorkshire Housing later this year.
